Ready, Set, TeamSmarts!
TeamSmarts is the new online LifeSmarts activity designed to be used cooperatively by teams of students. TeamSmarts is a 100-question multiple-choice quiz that focuses on a single LifeSmarts topic each month. Teams work together at one computer to complete the quiz in an hour. Points are awarded based on both accuracy and speed -- students have to work together to develop a winning strategy!
The monthly TeamSmarts quiz can be used in many ways -- to prepare for the competition, as a practice tool before an in-person competition, as a group activity to foster teamwork with a new team, or as a classroom activity.
In addition to TeamSmarts being fun, students are competing against others from around the country! Each month, the first place team receives a prize from the National Consumers League, along with a TeamSmarts Champion certificate. FCCLA chapters competing in TeamSmarts have the opportunity to win a $100 award for their chapter, as well!
Coaches, please note this new information: Teams registered by the same coach will not be eligible to win prizes, or the $100 cash award, for two (2) consecutive months in a row. Learn more here.
